Once you arrive at Sandstone Bridge Center, you will need to check in at the front desk. New clients are expected to provide demographic information to allow SSBC to place you within our computer system.
Most of the information will have already been collected when you called to schedule an intial consult with a therapist. You will be asked to provide a current driver's license or photo ID and a copy of your insurance card(s). If you have more than one insurance coverage, please let the administrative staff know to ensure correct billing for our services.
SSBC encourages all clients to contact their insurance provider prior to establishing services to inquire about mental health coverage. Below are some of the questions to ask:
1. What is my deductible?
2. How much of my deductible has been met?
3. What will my co-pay or coinsurance be?
4. (For those insurance plans not within SSBC's network) Do I have out of network benefits? If yes, what is the reimbursement rate?
In the event you are seeking services for a minor, gaining services through your EAP (employee assistance program) or are attending court ordered therapy, please bring copies of any supporting documentation that may be helpful for your therapist (i.e. child custody paperwork, court expectations, etc.)
Conveniently located in downtown Salina, our office is easily accessible to our clients. Equipped with two entrances, one store front handicap accessible off of Santa Fe and the other, located at the rear of the building off the 7th street parking lot.
Once reaching our office, you will be greeted by our friendly staff and provided a beverage while you wait.
